My ‘post-PE at school’ fitness pursuits began when I was 19. Two friends took me to a local gym and we lifted weights using the beautiful shiny machines. This became a regular event and lasted about a year or so. Laughing. Would the visit to the pub after our workouts be called a complementary opposite? We replaced the lost calories in under a pint!!!!
